Gwynn Scheltema is an award winning fiction writer and poet whose work has been published in journals all over the world. Many of her stories are influenced by her experiences growing up in Africa. Fascinated by words, she enjoys sharing her love of language and has taught for over 25 years in community and private colleges at conferences and many day and evening workshops. With her business partner, Ruth Walker, she runs Writescape. which offers writers workshops and retreats.
Felicity Sidnell Reid has taught people of all ages from ten-year-olds to university students in Canada, Britain and Thailand. She is the author and co-author of books for teachers and texts for students. When she retired from her career as an educational administrator, she moved to Northumberland where she writes poetry and short fiction which as been published in anthologies, on-line journals and local newspapers. Her novel about early settlers in Northumberland County, Alone: A Winter in the Woods was published by Hidden Brook Press in October 2015.
Chris Cameron enjoyed a long and successful career as a professional opera singer in Canada. In recent years he has also become known as a writer and editor. His first book, a memoir of his singing years, Dr. Bartolo’s Umbrella and Other Tales from my Surprising Operatic Life, was published in 2017.
In 2019, he copy edited Hill Spirits IV: An Anthology by Writers of Northumberland County. Chris is a regular contributor to Watershed magazine and creates innovative presentations for the Westben Centre for Creation and Connectivity in Campbellford.
