I loved the readings, especially Ron MacKay’s original ‘neighbour’ story. It brought back memories of my thirty years living in rural Eastern Ontario, the independent streak that runs through the old one. Thanks Ron. May 2026 bring new stories and poems to each of the readers. Happy New Year.
It’s always a pleasure to wrie a new story for Word on the Hills, to be so warmly introduced by Felicity and Gwynnm and to be heard in the company of fellow Ontario writers.
As always, it’s a pleasure to listen to you, Ronald. Everything you share about your experiences is always interesting.
