Patricia Calder

Patricia Calder is both a writer and photographer and has made use of both talents in the production of her latest book about her visit to Sable Island. She describes the Island’s topography, history and wildlife, illustrating her narrative with her fine photographs.

  1. Wonderful interview. I was riveted by all the details of the horses on Sable Island, and the incredible geography of this sand dune at the edge of the continental shelf. And all the ships that have met up with it unhappily.
